So photos tomorrow for a mini-version of The Book then it's just everything crossed that it gets picked up by a publisher in the US.  Why I'm blogging and not crocheting like crazy I have no idea, but to add to the ambience tomorrow I'm making props - this crochet parrot is to go with the pirate kit, and I'm cracking on with a sword in a mo.  Then it's just some flower fairy wings and maybe a red riding hood cloak... hmm, maybe not.

Anyone that comes here often knows that pretty isn't usually my thing, I have burly boys and most things I make are for them.  This new one is one of the longest I've made, but the simplest, and isn't burly, it's very very girly.

We have a May festival near where we live in the old style.  There's morris dancing and maypoles and people dressed in green and flowers.  This crochet flower garland is inspired by that...

... yes, big beast is wearing it, he even offered, no chocolate bribery or anything.  Now that's love.
